Library Media Center
Your Library Team
Ms. Causey
Prior to becoming the Media Specialist at Alston Middle School in 2009, I taught middle school ELA and Social Studies for thirteen years.
Connecting the students, faculty/staff, and parents of Alston with fantastic books and resources is my passion. One of my favorite parts of this job is planning events, such as our Fall Bookfest and Read-In, which both celebrate and encourage reading.
Additionally, I serve as a Student Council sponsor and a member of the AMS House Leadership Team.
Ms. Zanghi
I am excited to be the media center assistant at Alston Middle School.
I have been an ELA teacher for thirty-one years and began my Dorchester Two career at Alston Middle School as a seventh and eighth grade teacher. Later, I was an ELA fourth grade teacher at Knightsville Elementary School and then Sand Hill Elementary School.
Serving as the media center assistant has afforded me an opportunity to help students discover books that encourage them to love reading. It is an honor to be back at Alston Middle School as the media assistant!
